The awakening
of the spirits inside
Beckon forth a lush
exorbitant
Force.
Qualities buried under,
hollowed out by
an underground river.
Spoken through actions.
No words.
Nothing vocal.
No tears.
Only the subconscious.
It has awakened them.
Being here.
They have come.
They are quiet.
They are powerful.
They are your demons

I liked the structure of your poem, you had longer lines and then shorter lines. This kept the cadence of your poem changing which reminds me of a flowing river. Your image was also very fitting.
ReplyDeleteI like how you used descriptive words to create an environment out of your words.
ReplyDeleteI like how descriptive it is and how it makes you feel as if your in the poem
ReplyDeleteI like how you talked about the subconscious level of the Tao. It deeply showed how connected our bodies are with the Earth subconsciously, and many people don't notice this.
